So far a feature that has caught my attention is that some switchers have independent loops (meaning that they are not internally connected but have an external input and output in addition to the send return, what makes possible connecting pedals in between the loops or putting them in the amp fx loop). The result is that it puts the player back in control of an unruly pedalboard!
